KLEFF2012 What is the 5th Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival?
The Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival is the nation’s first and biggest film festival on environmental films. Started in 2008, the Eco Film Festival has travelled to more than seven states in Malaysia, including Sabah, offering Malaysians a unique chance to catch some of the best and award-winning local and international environmental-themed films in several official festival venues in the country.
This year, the Festival will be held at the fairground of Dataran Tunku Canselor and the film screenings will be held at the Experimental Theatre.
Various workshops, forums, performances and even children’s activities will be scheduled to enrich the visitors’ knowledge on sustainable living.
The Film Competition
The film competition is divided in to four main categories:
- Best International Film
- Best Malaysian Film
- Best Young Film Makers Award (Malaysians only)
- Jury Award (Malaysians only)
